Our Hallmark

At Amara, every piece is crafted with integrity—and verified with certainty.

All our silver is hallmarked 92.5 sterling silver, ensuring authenticity, quality, and lasting value.

WHAT IS A HALLMARK?

A Mark of Authenticity

A hallmark is an official certification that confirms the purity of precious metal. It is issued after the metal has been tested and verified by authorised agencies. In India, hallmarking is governed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)—ensuring that every certified piece meets defined standards of purity.

WHAT DOES 92.5 MEAN?

Understanding 92.5 Silver

The “925” stamp indicates that the piece contains 92.5% pure silver, with the remaining 7.5% added for strength and durability. This composition, known as sterling silver, is the global standard—combining purity with the ability to be shaped, used, and lived with every day.

Our Promise

Crafted with care. Verified with certainty.

At Amara, hallmarking is not just a requirement—it is a reflection of our commitment to authenticity, transparency, and lasting value. Every piece is made to be trusted, used, and passed on.

Due to the nature of certain intricate or lightweight designs, hallmarking may not always be visibly placed on the product. However, all Amara pieces are crafted using certified 92.5 silver and adhere to the same standards of purity and quality.
